I don’t know why, I cannot help loving Slovenia, so we decided to celebrate the New Year there. We arrived in Ljubljana early in the morning. It was terribly cold, and the first coffee bar we encountered opened so early was Cafetino. As soon as we saw that it crowded with people, we knew we were certainly at the right place. A large selection of coffee beans grounded on spot, and a really good hot chocolate.
After a few hours in Ljubljana, we went to Kranj, where our hotel was.
My choice was to visit Bohinj and go to Vogel mountain.
After that we walked by the lake for 4 km to reach the town Ribcev Laz and take the bus.
The only logical thing to do was to celebrate the coming of 2019 in Ljubljana. The music was different at 4 stages and we picked. There were a lot of people from different countries, and mostly Italian.
We spent the last day in Bled.
